PARENTING GROUPS
Phoenix Center’s parenting groups offer a welcoming place for parents and caregivers to connect, learn, ask questions, and feel supported through every season of raising a child.
Through practical tools, meaningful conversations, and the support of experienced professionals and other caregivers, our groups help parents better understand their child’s needs, strengthen connection at home, navigate challenging behaviors and transitions, and feel more confident in the everyday moments of parenting.
Parenting doesn’t come with a handbook, and no parent is expected to have all the answers. Whether you’re facing a specific challenge or simply looking for new tools and a supportive community, there’s a place for you here.
Child-parent relationship therapy
Child-Parent Relationship Therapy (CPRT) is for parents and caregivers of children ages 2 to 10. CPRT is a research-based 10-week parenting course that teaches parents the same skills therapists use to help children experiencing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges.

Parent Feedback
"This has completely changed our lives. The more I learn, the calmer I get at home. I used to get really angry or completely numb or uncaring. I would yell all the time and the kids would too. I felt out of control and overwhelmed.
This is helping me learn to be a loving mom and talk and play with my kids. We can go out in public now and spend time together. Everyone has noticed a huge difference in our family.
Thank you for spending so much time and energy. No one else has given us tools like this. I am not perfect and have a long way to go, but I can't wait. I feel calmer, more patient and more in control of myself than I have ever felt."
