About Counseling at the Phoenix CenteR
It takes great courage for an individual to seek help, especially after experiencing trauma, abuse, and other mental health concerns. Our goal is to provide high-quality and evidence-based services to all children and families in our community who reach out for assistance. We utilize a strengths-based approach, fostering coping skills, individual growth, and ultimately healing. Additionally, Phoenix Center therapists draw from a variety of counseling theoretical perspectives and evidence-based modalities, in order to provide clients with the best opportunities for learning and growth.
Phoenix Center Therapists have advanced, specialized training in counseling methods for children and families, and are specialized in the treatment of trauma, as well as other mental health disorders and concerns. Phoenix Center therapists are trained in a research-based parenting curriculum, Child Parent Relationship Therapy (CPR-T), and provide parent consultations and parenting classes. All Phoenix Center staff therapists are licensed mental health professionals.
