Phoenix Filly Club is a one-day Equine-Assisted therapy workshop that helps tween girls ages 10-13 who are navigating friendship changes, big emotions, self-doubt, identity, boundaries, and the pressure to figure it all out.
Through ground-work with horses, nature, creative expression, and connection with other girls, participants will have opportunities to slow down, discover their strengths, practice healthy boundaries, build emotional regulation skills, and explore who they are becoming.
The course is led by Kellyn Lappinga, LCSW, C-CPT, and Harley Wardlow, LMSW, fully licensed mental health therapists trained in equine therapy.

Horses offer a unique way for girls to explore communication, boundaries, confidence, emotions, and connection in a hands-on environment.
Through groundwork activities, participants can practice noticing body language, communicating clearly, setting boundaries, and responding to challenges while building a relationship with a horse.
